The Central University of Tamil Nadu is making determined efforts to create and maintain a lifelong connection between the University and its enthusiastic community of currently over 3500 Alumni, since 2011. The number is sure to continue to grow exponentially. The University recognizes the Alumni as important stakeholders in enhancing its resources for high-quality education. Also, it realizes the enormous benefits of engagement with and the support of its alumni, many of whom have considerable expertise in many cutting-edge areas that are of interest to the current students of Central University of Tamil Nadu. They are dispersed worldwide and working together to make Central University of Tamil Nadu a top-tier University. Hence, the University has now formed a registered Alumni Association to build global network of all of its alumni.
In order to achieve this, Central University of Tamil Nadu requests all of its alumni to register with the newly registered alumni association. Registered members can explore the alumni association website and discover the many amenities, advantages, and services available to them.

The Central University of Tamilnadu Alumni Association (CUTNAA) was founded on 01st March 2016 and was registered under the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act, 1975 (Tamil Nadu Act 27 of 1975) on 27th June 2022, at the office of the District Registrar (Registrar of Societies), Thiruvarur. The prime aim of CUTNAA is to facilitate the connection of alumni with their fellow members, the University, and the current students on the campus through various events and platforms.
Alumni of the Central University of Tamil Nadu can register with the alumni association by filling the necessary form and paying the requisite fees.
I) To connect the alumni to the CUTN for providing a valued service to members and to support the mission of the CUTN.
II) To promote the academic, professional interactions and networking among the CUTN Alumni.
III) To facilitate and encourage alumni to contribute to the academics and research through allocating/raising funds and/or sharing knowledge and expertise to the CUTN Fraternity including Student community in areas pertaining to academics, infrastructure, industry interactions and any other area that the alumni and the CUTN feel appropriate.
To encourage the alumni members, non-members, Governments, Universities and other institutions, and philanthropists by raising the subscriptions, contributions, donations and gifts to achieve the objective of the Association
To develop the infrastructure of the University in general or for a specific purpose including renovation of old buildings and build new ones.
To assist the University in the arena of automation, digitalization and modernization of libraries.
To provide fund for purchase of equipment and machineries and their maintenance.
To create a website for dissemination of alumni association activities to members and donors and its maintenance.

The membership fee for the association members is provided below:-
U.G/P.G/ P.G Diploma/M.Phil:Rs. 500/-
Ph.D: Rs. 1000/-
Bronze Member: Rs.5,000/ - Rs. 49,000/-
Silver Member: Rs. 50,000/-
Gold Member: Rs.1,00,000/-
Platinum Member: Rs.2,00,000/-
The one-time membership fee of Rs.500/-, from U.G, P.G Diploma, P.G, and M. Phil Students and a fee of Rs.1000/- from Ph. D Scholars at the time of admission from every academic year (2021-2022 onwards).
Associate/Honorary/Donor Membership Fee: Such Members are not obliged to pay any membership fee.
The membership and subscription fees are subject to revision from time to time and with the approval from the appropriate authority.
The university’s alumni are its lasting legacy and strongest voice. Finding new ways to build an engaged membership base is an integral task of the Association. Joining CUTN Alumni Association is one of the easiest ways to reconnect with give back to the University, and be a springboard for further involvement. So, the alumni are encouraged to get themselves registered with the University.

Alumni can pay their membership fee and donations via UPI/SBI collect/direct deposit. After the payment, please furnish the payment transaction id/reference number in the registration form.
1. Payment Via UPI Use this UPI id: CUTNAA@SBI or Scan the below QR code. While paying Alumni are requested to write their Name, program name, duration of study in the details box (For. Ex. Rajendiran V, IMScChem 2010-2015)
2. Payment via SBI collect While paying through SBI collect, choose state of corporate/institution as Tamil Nadu in the first tab, in the second tab type of corporate/institution as others. You can find Central University of Tamilnadu Alumni Association will be available under the others name tab. Remaining as usual.

Donations:
The Honorary members, Faculty members, Alumni members, non-alumni members, Governments, Universities and other institutions, and philanthropists can donate funds/gifts to achieve the objective of the Association. Donations can be made in any quantity, however if you want to join the association as a bronze, silver, gold, or platinum donor member, please make the donations listed below. For documentation, donor members are asked to complete the Google form below. You must enter the fund transaction number while completing the form.
