These areas are among the most rapidly developing fields of microbiological research and will offer highly qualified manpower to industry and academia in the country. The department aims to place students in good positions in the marketplace following graduation. About the course
M.Sc. Microbiology is offered as a 72-credit-hour degree programme that encompasses 60 credits of Core Courses (CC) and 12 credits of Elective Courses (EC). The programme has 4 semesters, and each semester will have courses equivalent of 20 credits. The end-semester (semester IV) has 6 credits of compulsory project work and dissertation that is aimed at imparting research training to the students.
