Biographic Sketch:
Dr. S. Binthu Mathavan has been an Assistant Professor at the Department of Physical Education and Sports at the Central University of Tamil Nadu's School of Education and Training since July 28th, 2023. From 24/01/2020 to 27/06/2023, he worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Education at the Central University of Punjab, Bathinda. Post-doctorate (2015-2020), Ph.D., M.Phil., M.P.Ed., and Post Graduate Diploma in Health Fitness, Wellness, and Lifestyle Management completed at Pondicherry Central University between 2008 and 2014. During this time, the M.P.Ed. and M.Phil courses he got the best student gold medals among all department courses. In 2009, he received P.G. Diploma in Yoga from Annamalai University. In 2007-08, he earned a B.P.Ed. from Alagappa University and a B.Sc. in Physical Education from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University in Tirunelveli 2004-07. He attended I.C.I Govt Hr Sec School in Tenkasi and Chatram Bharathi Hr Sec School in Kadayam, Tenkasi district. He is an AIFF Qualified 'D' License Football Coach, a Level One Kin-Anthropometricst, an "ISSA" Qualified Personal Fitness Trainer, and an Obesity Consultant. Authored 23 research papers, 5 conferences, 11 national workshops, focusing on obesity prevention, physical therapy, motion analysis, sports training, and psychology's influence.
Research Highlights :
23 research articles, five international conferences, and 11 national-level workshop/seminar papers have been published on Scopus, Web of Science, and peer-reviewed journals. From 11/06/2014 until 11/06/2015, I worked as a Project Assistant at Pondicherry University. Obesity Prevalence through Physical Therapy, Human Motion Analysis & Development in Sports, Methods of Training for Sports Achievement, and Psychology's Influence on Sports Performance and Management are all my current areas of research interest. I was Published two books entitled "Impact of Core Training and Plyometric Training on Soccer Players". ISBN: 978-3-659-88642-3 LAP LAMBERT academic publication as Corresponding Author in 2016 in the second one "Sports Coaching and Officiating in Physical Education" Year-2021 Notion publishing ISBN:9798885461016 as Co-Author. The patent was registered and published in German entitled "AN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE-BASED SYSTEM FOR PROACTIVE NETWORK SECURITY.”
