Dr. Senthilkumar Shanmugasundram research expertise includes Nursery management, Plant Propagation & Rootstocks, Crop Management & Crop Regulation in Fruit Crops (Tropical & Subtropical fruits) and Sustainable Horticulture. His current research focus with identification and performance analysis of suitable fruit crops as a choice for Cauvery delta region of Tamil Nadu towards the upliftment of rural economy of farming community. Very recently he standardized a production package for water apple in the delta track of Tamil Nadu which enlighten a key way for introduction of the crop in the region. He visited countries like China and Nepal for his research presentations during his career.
