Biographic Sketch:
Dr.V.Rameshkumar is an Assistant Professor and Research Supervisor in the Department of Tamil, School of Social Sciences and Humanities, Central University of Tamil Nadu. He specialises in the field of modern literature, sangam literature, and folklore. He has more than 15 years of teaching and five years of research experience. He has published three books, nine journal articles, and 10 book chapters. Currently, two Ph.D Scholars are working for their Doctoral Degree in Tamil under his guidance and supervision. He has presented 13 research papers in the national level conferences and 19 research papers at the international conferences. He has received many awards for his contribution towards teaching and research in the field of Tamil. He has participated in 11 workshops held at various higher educational institutions. Served as the resource person for six different programmes conducted at both school and college levels. He has successfully guided more than 15 PG projects. He has jointly organized one-day national conference on the topic The Great Cholas Historical Research. Further, he has organized a three-day training programme on developing Tamil language skills for school children.
