Environmental Humanities She also engages with Environmental Humanities, highlighting an interdisciplinary engagement with literature, ecology, and cultural knowledge systems. Her current research particularly focuses on ecoliteracy and the role of narrative forms in mediating environmental awareness and sustainability. As a way of contributing to Indigenous Knowledge Systems (IKS), her research focuses on inquiring into Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) in Tamil Nadu, exploring the interface between indigenous knowledge, scientific discourse, and environmental communication. This integration of literary analysis with ecological frameworks advances critical approaches to sustainability, emphasizing culturally embedded knowledge systems and their relevance to contemporary environmental challenges.
