Dr.S.K.Balashanmugam, M.L., Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department i/c, at the Department of Law, School of Legal Studies, Central University of Tamil Nadu, Thiruvarur. He started his career as an academician while serving as a Guest faculty at Dr. Ambedkar Government Law College, Chennai. He gained a good experience in teaching and research by serving as an Assistant Professor at the Tamil Nadu National Law University, Tiruchirappalli. He completed his research program and awarded with Ph. D from the prestigious Rajiv Gandhi University of Intellectual Property Law, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, West Bengal, India. He has a good number of publications in various international journals. His research interest includes International Trade Laws, Environment Laws, Biotechnology Laws, Corporate Laws, Intellectual Property Rights, and Biodiversity Laws.
