Work-Life Balance
By understanding the difficulties and problems faced by working women, a module named "Better Balance is developed. this module is well addressed from training needs analysis to various strategies to balance all six phases of life. By using this module, various segments like teachers, managers, entrepreneurs, executives, and employees are trained both in India and Sri Lanka. Through a comprehensive study on work-life balance, the relationship between a balanced work-family life and health issues was addressed.
Women Empowerment:
Observing the lifestyle and problems faced by fisheries women for a long time resulted in finding some solutions for them, which also resulted in getting funding from ICSSR. Fisheries Women are empowered with various marketing strategies, fish-selling techniques, and value-added products. This resulted in an improvement in their livelihood improvement and gave them more confidence.
Employability Skills:
To address the challenges faced by rural students in gaining employability, a separate module for employability skills is developed. After a detailed analysis of the challenges related to employability, the module addresses confidence building, fear management, resume preparation, and interview techniques. It also covers etiquettes and assertive communication. Through this module, students of various disciplines employability competencies are improved
