Biographic Sketch:
Dr kokila Jayakumar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics and Applied Mathematics at Central University of Tamil Nadu from Nov 25, 2019 to date. Her Research during PhD programme under the guidance of Prof. K.Balachandran, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore was mainly based on Fractional Differential Equations and its Controllability Results, she was awarded with the Ph. D degree on 23rd March, 2013. She continued the research in 2017 via the Women Post Doctoral Fellowship for break in career offered by Indian Institute of Technology(IIT) Madras and started working on Ill posed problems of fractional heat equations under the supervision of Prof. M.Thamban Nair. Further, she got the NBHM Post doctoral fellowship sponsored by DAE, New Delhi, India and hosted by IIT Palakkad. She has expertise in Fractional Inverse Problems, Fractional Control Problems and Fractional Modeling.

   
Research Highlights :

Dr Kokila Jayakumar’s  research focuses on the following streams: Fractional Control Problems, Regularization on fractional Backward Parabolic Equations, Fractional Modeling in Chemical reactions, Drug diffusion analysis on Pharmacokinetics. Recently, she has been awarded with the UGC BSR Research Start-Up Grant of 10 Lakh   on November 2021. To her credit, she has published 11 research articles in the reputed journals.  Her recent contribution is the fractional modeling on chemical reaction networks, especially, Michaelis Menten Kinetics and their optimal control study.
