Biographic Sketch:
I did my BSc (Physics Hons.) from Fakir Mohan (Auto) College Balsore (2006) and MSc from Utkal University (2008) with Particle Physics Specialisation. I have qualified NET-JRF (2008) and GATE (2008). I joined as Ph.D research scholar in IIT Bombay in (2008-2015) with Prof. B.K Nandi. My research work was on the experimental study of possible formation of Quark-Gluon Plasma in relativistic heavy-ion collisions at RHIC, BNL, NY, USA and at the LHC, CERN, Geneva. After my Ph.D. I have worked as PDF in IIT Indore(4 months), in Inha University, Incheon, South Korea (4 years) and Institute PDF at IIT Madras (8 months). Currently, I am working as assistant professor in the Department of Physics from June 2020. I am the Institutional Board member of EIC Collaboration at BNL, NY, USA. I teach Electricity Magnetism, Numerical Methods, Nuclear Physics and Advanced Particle Physics to IMSc students.

Research Highlights :

My broad area of research is experimental high energy physics. My research mainly focuses on the area of ultra-relativistic heavy-ion collision experiments at the LHC, which aims to study the properties of Quark-Gluon Plasma (QGP). My research interest also in research and development of MAPS technology based CMOS pixel detectors used in collider experiments. MAPS technology based pixel sensor are the most advanced detector technology with broad applications in high energy physics to medical science in the future.
