Biographic Sketch:
Dr.S.Seethalakshmi is qualified with B.Com, M.C.A, M.Music and M.Phil Degrees in First class, Doctoral Degree in Music and UGC-NET in Music. She is grand Daughter and disciple of the renowned Carnatic exponent Sangita Kalanidhi Padma Bhushan Dr. B.RajamIyer. She had the opportunity to learn music from Dr. B.Rajam Iyer through Gurukulavasa and provided Vocal support for him in concerts. She has learnt music from many stalwarts of Carnatic Music. She has performed concerts in India and abroad. She has served as Music Teacher in Sivan Arts Academy, Chennai for 10 years and taught both Theory and Practical aspects of Music and was well recognized by the institution for her performance. She is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Music, CUTN. She has presented several papers in National Conferences and Lecture Demonstrations in India and abroad. She has completed Hindi Language Pragya Examination conducted by the Department of Official Language, Govt of India in the year 2022. She has authored a book "Amruta Gaana Manjari" published by Pranav Journals. She has been selected in the Editorial board of UGC Care listed journal, Swar Sindhu and Peer-reviewed journals- Pranav Journal and Smrti.
