Biographic Sketch:
Dr. Virendra Kumar has been working as an assistant professor of Mathematics at the School of Mathematics and Computer Sciences, Central University of Tamil Nadu (CUTN), Thiruvarur, since June 2016. He received his PhD from the National Institute of Technology Hamirpur (HP) in 2013. After his PhD, he worked as research associate at the JNCASR Bengaluru. He worked as an NBHM Postdoctoral fellow at IIT Roorkee. He completed his BSc and MSc in Mathematics from CCS University Meerut (2004) and HNB Garhwal University (2007), respectively. He has successfully guided one Ph.D. in Mathematics at CUTN Thiruvarur. His interests include mathematical modeling Bioconvection phenomena for various micro-organisms, Flow Through Porous Media, Linear/Non-linear Over stability Analysis, and Perturbation Techniques.

Research Highlights :

Dr. Virendra Kumar’s research involves the modeling of convection phenomena closer to the real-world flow. His contributions are related to the modeling of convection problems in porous and non-porous scenarios. He has published nine research articles in international journals of repute. His current research focuses on the modeling and analysis of the complex biomechanical convection problems subjected to oscillated systems.
