He has been teaching the Post Graduate degree classes more than Twenty years. The government of India and State government of Tamil Nadu have honored to him for his research work of books respectively in the name of award, `YOUNG SCHOLAR’ and BEST AUTHOR OF BOOK. Special mention should be made of his research in Tamil Grammar/Linguistics and his publication of five books and several research articles (75) on Tamil Grammar, a rare phenomenon in present day Tamil scholarship. He has guided more than twenty Ph.D/M.Phil research scholars’ and more than fifty students of Post Graduate Project. He is an editorial board member in various peer reviewed research journals and UGC CARE / Listed journals. He has been a member of board of Studies in National and State levels an assortment of reputed educational institutions for reconstruction of curriculum to up to date and also, he has doctoral committee member in various Universities. He has created more than 150 e-contents for Ancient Tamil Grammar of Tolkappiyam(YouTube channel) - (1) vel – YouTube. He has completed his PhD from Gandhigram Rural Institute (deemed to be University) in 2001 on area Classical Tamil Grammar, Linguistics. He is presently as Professor of Tamil, Dean of School of Social Sciences and Humanities and Liaison Officer of OBC Cell, Central University of Tamil Nadu, Thiruvarur – 610005, Tamil Nadu He has convenor of Tamil Talks programme production giving educational programmes on various topics through GYAN VANI FM Radio Station, Coimbatore and also as a programme officer of NSS of Dr. GRD College of Science, he has conducted regular programmes and special camps related to social and economic development of people at adopted village and created assets like library buildings, books etc., and he has special talents like Documentary making relating to the awareness of social issues, well known personalities of Tamil Scholars. He has organized, International/National/State level various Seminars, Symposium, Workshops, Special lecture series and Training Programmes, Archaeology Exhibition sponsored by International/National/State funding agencies (Sahitya Akademi, UGC, CICT.TN.Govt. Museum, ICHR etc.,) in the mode of online and offline for research attitude and student community pupil in this occasion he invited eminent Tamil scholars’ from all over international/national. He has made a department promo for all activities to admission. In his during period (HoD of Tamil) demand of admission to PG and Research programmes.
