Dr. J Vineesh Prakash is a distinguished social science researcher specializing in industrial economics, international trade and finance, and development issues including migration and financial inclusion. In his doctoral research, he employed dynamic panel data models and limited dependent variable regression models to ascertain the determinants of profitability, R&D, and export performance within a specific industry context. He also tested theories such as the resource-based view and analysed the influence of ownership structures, including business group affiliation. In his M.Phil. research, he modelled time-series datausing cointegration techniques to evaluate the degree of equity market integration across BRICS nations. Presently, as a faculty of economics at Central University of Tamil Nadu, he has expanded his research focus to encompass topics such as financial inclusion. He has published articles in esteemed national and international journals, including Millennial Asia, Vision, South Asia Economic Journal, and The Indian Economic Journal, among others. He received the Best Paper Award at the “6th Management Doctoral Colloquium & VGSOM Research Scholars’ Day” organized by the Vinod Gupta School of Management at IIT Kharagpur.
