Research Highlights : Prof.G.Ravindran's research and teaching activities focus on the following areas: Critical Theories and Philosophies, Political Economy of Journalism and Communication, Spatiality, Temporality and Materiality of Communication, Critical Pedagogies in Journalism and Communication, Film Cultures, Digital Cultures and Diasporic Cultures. He has co-edited two books in Tamil. He is the editor of the book, Deleuzian and Guattarian Approaches to Contemporary Communication Cultures in India (Springer, March 2020). His book,Spatialities and Materialities of Communication in South India was published by Peter Lang, Berlin, in July 2023.
